When it comes to Miami, diversity is a word that always comes up when describing the magic city and DJ Dexes is a prime example of that. With early exposure to the sounds of his Puerto Rican Cuban culture, Latin music, and disco jams were always buzzing through the speakers in his childhood home. It wasn't until he got his hands on his first album, Demon Days by Gorillaz, that he began to deepen his connection with music. This versatile exposure at a young age inspires Dexes' current-day style, stringing together songs that may not seem to blend, but ultimately create a vibe for the varied crowds of Miami. He is one of the weekly resident DJs at the world-famous RUM & BASS party with Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, he's been a featured DJ at iii points, and his residencies across Miami span well-known bars such as 1-800 Lucky, clubs like Space & everything in between. His passion for graphic design, marketing & and films fuels his creativity and desire to be one of the best DJs coming out of South Florida. At this rate, it won't be long before his name becomes one of the most respected in Miami.
